Introduction to San Antonio Texas

San Antonio, Texas has been the fastest growing large city in the United States for the past several years. If you were to visit this Texas metropolis, you would quickly understand why. A San Antonio offer a little of everything and its cost of living is quite affordable compared to other large cities like New York and Los Angles.

Here are 3 options you may want to consider while visiting or living in San Antonio.

You can follow along with the NBA and route for the spurs. They have been one of the most dominating teams in recent NBA history. The spurs current home arena is the ATT Center. The arena holds 18,000 screaming fans.

Visit some amusement parks. There are two main attractions to choose from; Sea World and Six Flags. Sea World is known for its shows. Of course, most of these are structured around the water. Six Flags is more about the rides. Six flags has many more rides than Sea World and also had more of the thrill seeker ride like Superman and Screamer. The shows from Six Flags are not worth mentioning. However, at times they are known to have a good concert or two.

Tour the Riverwalk. The river walk is located in center of San Antonio. It provides a nice area for walking and taking in scenery. Also, built along the riverwalk are restaurants, hotels, businesses, and a mall. This helps to increase the attraction and provided visitors with more things to do.

Learn about the Alamo. Who isn’t interested in a group of people who die for a cause? It always makes for a good story. Take 300 or Braveheart for example. I understand some historians disagree on what really happened in certain aspects but the base line remains the same. A group of people would not surrender their fort to a larger enemy even though there was no chance of winning; all in the name of freedom.
